Help God Help You: Be Health Conscious

Hello everybody. I just want to take this opportunity to enlighten or remind us that as we exercise our life in Christ spiritually we should exercise our life physically as well. This body we have isn’t our own it belongs to God so we should take heart that we take care of it accordingly (1 Cor. 6:19)  I came across a video that can inform and help us to do just that. Highlighted in the video are 8 laws we can adhere to keep our bodies healthy

  1. Nutrition – a vegetarian diet  is the best way to lose weight and to keep it off decreases disease and it’s more economical
  2. Exercise—important for physical and mental health; increases blood circulation, lowers heart rate and blood pressure, and controls appetite
  3. Water—drink 8-10 glasses a day, kidneys are very dependent on water to filter out unwanted products
  4. Sunshine—healing agent that forms Vitamin D and destroys virus and bacteria; early morning or late afternoon to avoid burning
  5. Temperance—avoid things that are detrimental to spiritual and physical health; Eclessiastes 3
  6. Air—improves oxidation of blood when fresh air is breathed regularly
  7. Rest-adequate hours replenishes cells with energy;
  8. TRUST IN THE LORD—Isaiah 40:31
